Let's say you added the animated Captions first, then added a lot of scenes. Then there is no way to update all the Captions across scenes any more. Although I am able to select the captions and it shows it for the full composition, as soon I make a change, it just applies to the caption in the current scene. This means, I need to go through each scene separately to copy past the attributes to the caption manually. I'm not sure I understand why my subscription limits the number of "studio sound" recordings I can have per month. The one thing that I feel really feel strongly about and I would like addressed is the number of "studio sound" uses that count in one video project. Myself and others are not able to upload long videos from our cellphone's to Descript. This forces us to cut longer videos into pieces, however each piece of video uploaded counts as 1 studio sound use. I would like to recommend that Descript count the entire uploaded video as 1 studio sound. Charging for each piece of video that turns out to be one video in the end does not seem fair to me.

Select multiple scenes at once to perform bulk operations on them.

Ability to copy media on the script, and paste it on to a scene as B-Roll.

Our team at work has started using Canva, we’re kicking the tires on using it for making basic videos and social media graphics. Some apps, like EdApp LMS have integrated Canva as e.g. a way of importing graphics and it’s quite popular for school presentations and such, when you want something fun looking and animated. If Descript and Canva merged, I would be amazed and Adobe would probably be in line to buy y’all. But anyway, this is a feature request to consider adding third-party editors of graphics and content, such as Canva.

When you use Eye Contact, it does the ENTIRE video for Eye Contact for everyone. This winds up leaving Eye image artifacts for everyone speaking. There needs to be a feature added that only has it do Eye Contact for a Selected Section, not the entire video.

I often find it hard to see which scene I'm working in. For example when I'd like to copy a layout. I then click in the text of the scene, but have a hard time seeing the corresponding scene in the sidebar on the left. The contrast is low.

We need to be able to duplicate video layers and create nested sequences in the timeline. We should be able to remove the audio from the duplicated clip to make it video-only.

Within a single project, is there a way to assign an image to each speaker, so that those images will automatically show up into a timeline? This would make it so much easier to create a podcast video file? Right now, the only way I see to add and switch images for each speaker is to manually add scenes with every change of speaker and manually assign each scene a specific image. Thanks for your help!
