This is SO infuriating, truly. This is the most basic feature in any editing software; in fact, this is the first time I've used any editing software that doesn't allow this, regardless if it's image, audio or video.

This is my first time using Descript and this not being an already baked in feature is truly shocking, especially considering it's October 2026 and this was first requested in 2022. The fact it even had to be a requested feature is ridiculous.

I had to scroll way down the feature request list to find anything with more upvotes than this and it was multi-language transcription support. I kept scrolling and... nothing. Get on it developers. If you guys don't know how to do it, ask a dev at ANY OTHER EDITING SOFTWARE COMPANY.

Seriously, people have been asking for this for 4 years, this is way upvoted too.

Is this really still not a thing!?

I'm spending hours at the moment trying to do something that should literally take me 1 minute. WTH? I'm glad to find others complaining about this as well. Hopefully at some point our voices will be heard. Hard to believe this thread was started 3 years ago and still no action. Sigh.....

Descript... really its very annoying this isn't already a feature! I have a video with 72 scenes and need to apply the exact same change to all of them. Why oh why can I not select them all at once and make a change?! It really is bonkers that you've not added this feature. Please sort it out!

How is it not absolutely to select multiple scenes??? this seems absolutely bonkers to me? You can multi-select items, files, tracks in spotify, anything....why not this?

Yes! This will significantly improve my workflow.

Bump.

Again...
