Select a scene and duplicate it as another layer. I don't want to duplicate the entire file.

This would enable me to do multi-cam with a single video file when speakers are side by side. The process now (to ensure video is in sync) is to duplicate the scene to another composition. Export that to a file. Import that file into the timeline at that scene.
