Select multiple visuals and manipulate them at once

Allow users to group multiple layers together. Use case: Animation can be added to group layers to allow simultaneous movement.

Keyboard shortcut to quickly duplicate a visual on the canvas.

It would be sooo useful to have an auto reframe function within Descript, similar to what you have in Premiere Pro. I create tons of vertical videos from traditional content, so with auto reframe it should convert it to vertical video AND keep track of the speaker as he moves around.

I'd like to be able to track how much recording time I've used. It would also be helpful to have the amount of time allocated to podcasts, shorts etc, instead of having to rush to upgrade or get a booster at the last minute and then connect with a representative to have it added. It seems unnecessary to go through so many hoops in this digital age. It would be great if this information could be added to the dashboard so that I have a clear picture and can plan my monthly uploads accordingly, rather than being at the mercy of a last-minute warning that I'm reaching the end of my allocated time.

When trying to make zoom in/out cuts between middle shots and close ups it's useful to be able to zoom out the Canvas to make sure the speaker is framed and aligned correctly between scenes. Currently it can be done but is labor intensive moving the video frame around when zoomed in and out of the Canvas borders.

Using "Chroma Key" affects the entire canvas (get rid of a green halo from an entire actor against a green screen) - but if that actor is holding something green, it will look odd. Request: please allow carving OUT a specific region of the video from Chroma Key effects!

When resizing elements, allow them to snap to other on screen elements for better alignment

Add a way to change the location of multiple on canvas elements simultaneously.

Would like to be able to resize images or video on the canvas. Currently I have to keep moving each and every image or video in the canvas frame just to resize it.
