It was so much easier to see the scenes and navigate them when they were big and in the sidebar. Now I have to hunt for them. Can you reinstate the sidebar as an option?

split screen sucks, I need to be able to turn off text screen all together

The new timeline editor is so buggy, it's constantly refreshing between the old and new format as I edit, and I don't even think I'm using labs for the new feature set. Among the changes it keeps toggling back and forth, the removal of the scene sidebar seems like an out of touch mistake. I regularly rely on that timeline for easier navigation around my timeline (I'm regularly editing hour long videos) and utilize it often to implement edits across a video that only impact specific scenes. Removing it will actively make my work harder, more time consuming, and would ruin part of the appeal to use Descript's editor in the first place.

Select multiple visuals and manipulate them at once

As a paying member for years, you are making so many disruptive changes that I literally want to cancel. As soon as I get used the interface for recording, editing, you change it again. This is a poor business model and honestly pisses me off. You select a small group of beta testers, test the new layout for 3 months and then ANNOUNCE THE RELEASES and ask us if we want to go back to legacy view. This is outrageous for a company your size to make changes and not even give paying members an option to go back to legacy SO WE CAN GET BACK TO WORK!! Do you understand how disfunctional that is? STOPP!!!!!! Or I'm moving to Loom and will make COUNTLESS videos about this annoyance on my Tiktok and youtube channels. Be professional!!!!

Bring log footage from popular cameras up to Rec 709 within Descript using built-in LUTs

Hello, I saw on Descript that the timeline has been changed, and that the previous one will disappear in the future. There is, of course, still the option to go on Settings, General, and Labs to toggle it on or off, but please keep that toggle there. Your previous timeline is much more easier to use, this new one is very confusing and counter-intuitive. Keep that toggle with the option for the previous timeline and the new timeline, for all users to use Descript how they prefer. This is coming from someone who loves using Descript, so please keep the toggle option there for the two timelines. Thank you!

Add option to select multiple projects to delete or export instead of one by one.

I often work on trains and in locations with poor connection. It would be great if there was a true capacity for offline editing like other video editing programs. Even if some AI features would not work until wifi is back. The ability to cut and adjust local files would be amasing.

it would be nice to be able to work offline (with an in-app click) without having to turn the wifi off (so that you can still use the internet but can work 'offline' with Descript as it runs better offline).
