Ability to lock a layer to be always on top. For example, I have a talking head video and every time I add a new background slide to a scene, I have to constantly set the order level of the main talking head video to front.

Ability to have the color of text appear as a gradient from one color transitioning to another color like Gamma.io

The files which I want to use with Descript are not stored on my computer, but on Google Drive and OneDrive. It would be a real timesaver if I can add audio and video files straight from those storage locations.

We are finding that we have to manually mute non-speaking periods. There should be an option to mute all 'grey' elements of the timeline (those without translations). This would save a lot of time cleaning up breathing / background noises.

Currently I use 1 video with 2 seperate audio sources. It would be nice to be able to zoom in on my face and on the other speakers face and have it switch between people when they are speaking automatically. Multicam is very complicated at the moment.

The current process for translating captions needs a lot of work. Having to adjust everything in the english version before translating and not being able to even add a captions track into the translated projects, let alone adjust anything project-wise, is simply not up to par. We should be able to adjust caption timing in any language.

Ability to click a button to ask Underlord to make suggestions for a particular scene (eg current scene) and provide a list from which the user can check off the desired improvements and then tell Underlord to implement those suggestions and have the ability to restore an individual suggestion if not approved.

Ability to assign timeline tracks for specific asset types (ie. music, sound effects, text animations, background slides, b-roll, etc.)

Ability to see Underlord conversation in a landscape format instead of a portrait format. Be able to toggle viewing Underlord on left, right, bottom, or top similar to Apple's Dock.

Ability to work with the Underlord while also seeing values in the left-hand menu such as properties.
