fix how descript cuts off words when underlord deletes dead air

It used to be pretty good, but it's getting worse compared to others. I have now switched to using ElevenLabs Speech to Text because it's 99.9% correct first time and then pasting in that transcription. Anyway you can use their tool as your own transcription?

Sometimes it works right, but often it jumps around randomly.

I would love to see grouped objects in the same way you can group them in Microsoft programs. I know that you can bulk select now which is very helpful but it would great to take it to the next level and group them (or ungroup them) so you only need to click on one item when you want to copy and reuse something or move it in the timeline or add it to another project.

At the moment I have to create every single one manually one by one. I'm talking about things like Ken Burns or zoom and pan on stills.

We've had tools to do this automatically for 15 years. Crazy that we have to do it manually in Descript.

Since moving to Descript from other editing software, this is the biggest pain point that I am surprised is not addressed: If I copy something in the timeline (like an image) - or copy something from another descript project - I should be able to paste that thing into my project at the playhead location. Right now it (mostly - sometimes unpredictable) gets pasted at the start of a scene. Pasting at the playhead location in the timeline is a basic functionality that I got used to with tools like imovie and logic pro. Would love to have it in Descript.

If there was a way to auto-mute hosts and guests when they aren't speaking, it would make the clarity of recordings much better and save a lot of editing time.

The scroll bar at the bottom of the screen, is so tiny and difficult to see, it's nearly impossible to scroll through the timeline horizontally. The Descript scroll bars are for some reason at least half, if not more, smaller than regular websites scroll bars.
