Hey Team I tried to comment on this mobile upload of videos feature request which was already being implemented, but I could not comment on it. https://feedback.descript.com/feature-requests/p/mobile-upload-of-videos I commented a few things on that feature request and didn't get any responses. And I feel like it's got a lot of potential, and a lot of users would end up implementing it. has there been any further thoughts on this process that I've outlined above? For solo business owners, social media is literally our kryptonite. And as much as I'd like to spend two hours editing a silly video for social media, it's just not viable for me to keep up with the current trends of how many videos you need to upload a week. Carousels and static images obviously tend to not do as well. There is just still too much friction, dare I say it, for individuals to make a video, upload it, have it edited, and then present it in the email inbox, for example, to just click the link and jump straight into Descript. That workflow I outlined in my previous comment. Is still basically the best solution to get a result quick. Every day, almost, I'll record something about a project. And the trouble is, especially as a solo business owner, you have so many different things you need to achieve per day. And if I was able to take the video, jump straight into the browser, and hit upload with the prompt, And the project name, and then put my phone back into my pocket and it's ticked off, it's done. Walk back into the office an hour later and be presented with an email link, and all I need to do is review the result. That would save all of the fluffing around in between of having to prompt, descript, and do all the. Mundane tasks that essentially don't need to be done these days because there are so many automation capabilities possible. Is there any chance something like the workflow above could be looked into? I believe there's about three categories for myself, for example. Long-term project. Here I would make videos over the coming months and I would send them into the same project folder. The beauty of this is that they would always fall into the right position on the timeline since you're progressively uploading them. Once complete with all the uploads, you can then go into DScript and say, start the editing. Short-term project. Similar, I would basically upload short videos over a few days or weeks till the small project is completed, and then I would do the same process. Ideally, as well in the upload area or the section where you can upload the videos. Let's say you took your phone out, made a video, uploaded it, and then before you head to your next job or do your next task, you check, you see the videos uploaded, and you know that was the last video, and you can then say, use this prompt and get to work. And then you could already do that from your phone, and it again just saves that task of when I get to the computer, it's another job and another thing I need to think about. Quick workshop or product update videos. This is for 30 second videos, one minute, three minutes, five minutes, where you just do a little workshop update, you talk about a product, you give a little presentation, and all you want to do there is basically, as outlined above, name the project, give the prompt that you want Descript to get straight to work with. Once it's done its work, it will send you an email link. And then you can just jump straight in there, review it. If it looks good, perfect, export and send it to the next stage of uploading to social media or however you work. And then if you need to make some further modifications to the content, then of course you could prompt it a few more times and then export. I don't think this is just a special request from my end. I'm sure there are many people who have the same opinion and would benefit from the same workflow if it was available. Thank you for your time.
