It is very helpful to insert the word gap to make edited listening more natural. BUT, it ruins the video version because the gap is a blank (black) frame in the video. So, while the audio sounds ok, the video now is a distraction.

Instead, is is possible to freeze the last frame prior to the inserted gap? Most often, they have finished a sentence and you want a pause, so the expression can work, but even if the expression is not perfect it would better than the visual blip.
