The transcription often does not line up words correctly with the waveforms and it's very cumbersome to correct. 2 things would really help: 1) ability to move the connection point between words at once, so that the end of word 1 and start of word 2 are both adjusted at once - right now you can only edit one word at once 2) be able to drag a word on the timeline

On long compositions it is especially annoying when i'm editing the end of the file and Play wraps around to the beginning of the file. It makes the beginning have to reload and freeze up the program, then i have scroll all the way back down to then end and wait for a bunch of loading delays. No value to it! Just stop at the end

I often use green screen to block out my home office and replace the background. It would be nice to lock these two together. I run into trouble with shifting the layers around to fit a new layout.

Improve the timeline interface of the video editor. Refer to processing tools from other software and integrate them into the editor, such as Trim Start and Trim End. There should be a default option to automatically detach audio when importing footage/video into the timeline (instead of having to manually disable it each time). Add the ability to customize the height of layers for better visibility; the current interface becomes very hard to read when multiple layers are stacked. Remove unnecessary or cluttered notifications when importing any video/footage into the timeline, or move them to other positions so they don’t obstruct the video preview. In addition to the existing layer lock feature, add an option to lock all layers simultaneously within a segment. Currently, locking everything requires clicking each layer individually, which is quite time-consuming. The feature for detecting segments to cut (from the in-point) in the original video is too slow and needs to be made faster. Add a feature that allows reverse lookup from a footage clip back to its original source video in the Project folder.

Currently, it's only possible to select one clip at a time in the Layer Lane. If you've gotten into a state where there are a huge number of clips in the Layer Lane that you need to remove, being able to select multiple clips at one time would help streamline removing them (instead of deleting them individually).

I often work on trains and in locations with poor connection. It would be great if there was a true capacity for offline editing like other video editing programs. Even if some AI features would not work until wifi is back. The ability to cut and adjust local files would be amasing.

Items should paste at the playhead It should be possible to shift click select multiple elements in the timeline (to move, copy, etc) Seems like these would be super quick to do, and would cut my editing time by like 20%.

Timeline Export should not be locked behind the higher tiers

Currently there are a number of issues with the transition clip transition UI that are friction points: When rolling over the transition handle, the tool tip that comes up is directly below the handle and actually makes it a little difficult to see and select the handle. It would be better if the tool tip were 5-10 pixels lower. When the transition dialog is brought up, the only way to dismiss it is to click either in the script or in the video preview. Clicking in the timeline does not dismiss it, which creates a lot of friction in the editing flow if I'm editing the timeline. It would be very useful to have a key equivalent to insert a transition at the cursor and an accompanying preference to set what the length of the video and audio transition is for that default. Final Cut Pro has this and it's extremely useful.
