We should be able to indicate the start and stop locations of the image we're using an effect on. There's an issue with zoom and pan, in that it won't do it properly WITHIN a cropped frame, while using a media layout e.g.: image(left)/camera(right). i should be able to place the keyframes where i want them to be, select the starting keyframe, change the crop zoom and location of the image within the frame, then go over to the ending keyframe and adjust the crop zoom and location of the image within the frame, choose the easing that i would like, and apply. then when it plays it should zoom and pan from keyframe to keyframe. it does not do that. the only animation setting that pans/zooms within a cropped frame/layout is Ken Burns. and you cannot edit any of the details of the animation. make it an "advanced tab" or something, but also making your animations more intutitve and user friendly would be a good idea.

I see no way to record an audio narration on top of a video (with sound), and that narration get transcribed and put the transcription right, in place, on top of the video so I can use it in captions. Seems like a very straight forward use case: I want to add narration to my videos. Once recording the audio narration. Choosing "add to script" appends the transcription to the end of the video? Why would I want a script not in sync with its source audio? thanks!

The shorten word gaps feature got bad after the update. Grays out parts that speaker was actually talking and includes those in the cuts which makes the whole thing useless. I can't use it to wipe all the word gaps like before. Can you please fix it?

Turning off the feature in app settings does not work. I still get Smart Transitions added to every new scene I create. This is a bug - please address.

I record multiple short sections and want to add them together. The old insert clip feature has gone. Bot copy/paste and Duplicate result in either the video of the copied clip OR the preceding section going black. I couldnt find the bug section, so hope you see this and fix it very soon. It is making descript (which I loved) close to unusable.

I would like a way to save files created in descript directly to in the media library without requiring a download and subsequent upload. Example, I just used the teleprompter and recorder to record a voice over. I edited the voice over and I have to download and upload the edited version to be able to use that in a different project. I don't think this is the correct category, but it is as close as it gets.
