Never has there existed in the history of humanity a NLE whose keyframes get moved if you make cuts or delete sections to a completely different part of the timeline (like two minutes after where the second keyframe of the animation is!?). In fact the keyframes don't just get moved, the entire animation jumps forward to just after where I deleted the section. Absolutely nowhere near where I initially placed it. It's chaos. Please let the keyframes be set until I decide to change them, regardless of whether I delete part of the timeline etc. I am cancelling my subscription until I hear this is implemented.

Installed Descript via Homebrew, which pulled an older cached build (114.0.4-release.20250509.32955). App got permanently stuck on the loading screen, before ever reaching the project list, with a "This is taking longer than normal" message. Install ID: 71b5d201-0ee2-4701-bbcf-64f63e277592 Confirmed not a network issue (tested on two separate networks). Confirmed not corrupted local app data (reset local Application Support folder, no change). App appears unable to complete a self-update handshake against current backend from that old build, with no error message or recovery path shown to the user. Only resolved by manually downloading and reinstalling the current build directly from descript.com/download/mac .

I want to make a AI based app that run with proper workflow and generate visual image and animation outputs with export/save options. The app is coding or making without any paid Gemini API key and run for support for all devices browser and app install way. Worldwide user friendly AI Generative app that creates visual outputs like image,animation, image to video(duration set 5-10sec) based on users input data/script/prompt that the app internally optimize for best matching visual outputs, character face swap into scenes/images/animations. App is specially designed and features for social media content creating like Facebook/YouTube/Instagram etc. Multiple export options with multiple ratio suggestions.

Sometimes I don't like to remove filler words because it doesn't feel natural or it creates too many noticeable edit points. But I don't want this to appear in the captions either. Would love to see this as a possibility or I may stick to premiere pro just for the closed captions

As part of my guest onboarding workflow, I use Calendly to allow guests to book interviews with me. I currently have it automated so that the new booking triggers the creation of a new room in Squadcast. However, since Squadcast is no longer actively developed, I'd like to start using Rooms instead. It would be great if Descript provided a way to automatically create new rooms via Zapier or other API integrations.

If I only get 99% of the remote user's video/audio, I then have to manually append the backup. As this happens a lot you should have a single button that does this append.

I had a remote user disconnect at 99%. They went back to recover to get the last 1% uploaded. It didn't work. Your support bot said that recover doesn't work. Please implement a recover that does work.

I am really wishing for the ability, for certain templates, that have a beginning template and an end template that when I add the end template, instead of it defaulting to auto 400 and then me having to manually go in and change it to fade 850, I can have template-specific transitions between scenes that is set (cause this WAS the transition when the template was created). This is frustrating because having to go in and edit this every single time we use a template/layout is killing me.

This isn't a feature request, but a good job on the Underlord/Cluade beta. I love it sooo much! If I lose this feature, I may stop using Decsript. Sorry, not sorry. You spoiled me! :)

Being able to select an actual camera as the 'cutaway' would be super helpful in projects that are a typical of an in-person 3 camera podcast, where the 3rd camera is a wide 2-shot. This could be added to the Camera setup settings where you select the Cutaway camera to be either "split screen" or a track like the other camera option selector. Thanks!
