For strokes, outlines and fill colours etc. It would be a massive time saver to have saved brand colours or palettes for default colours

Set skin tone based on an eye dropper to automatically adjust visuals for skin tone

Many filler words that are automatically removed result in a harsh cut of the audio. I would like an option that only removes filler words that can be cleanly removed. For example, if the filler word has a pause between the start and end of it.

Pick white point with an eye dropper to set white balance

Sometimes I need to stop or pause an upload because it was either a mistaken file, or I am using a bad internet connection and need to pause it to make my system useable, but I can't just close Descript because I still want to work on an existing composition.

Being able to use a virtual camera a la OBS would allow for significantly more control of the video while doing screen recording. Currently there's no way to manipulate the video at all, such as rotating for a vertically oriented camera, color correction, brightness/contrast adjustments, etc.

Similar to the options on shapes and text.

Ability to perform J/L cuts by offsetting audio and video on the script.
