Even on my Mac M4 Pro, exports of 1-2hr podcasts can take 30+ minutes. Rather than staring at the % complete or forgetting to check it and realizing hours later it was done... it would be nice to have a unique audio sound and system notification.

Rooms has mic bleed, unsynced A/V, and has failed to record. When Rooms failed to pick up a remote guest's audio, I switched to Squadcast with the identical setup and no problems. Please get the basics to work.

I would love to see deeper engagement metrics on videos published on Descript with a weblink, such as watch time, views, clicks, navigation, etc.

I use audio fades dozens if not hundreds of times in every edit. I almost never ever ever use a video fade/dissolve. Why does Descript insist on automatically adding a video fade every time I add an audio fade? This makes for an extra unnecessary step to delete the video fade. It's super annoying. This should at least be a preference that I can turn off.

Please Please Please make the Keystroke Mute function that was just introduced to clips work for the script track as well. when I record video into descript and need to do dialog editing & clean up it is soooo cumbersome to have to mouse up to the properties window to mute breaths and studio sound artifacts. I am able to record the dual screen+webcam and it sort of works, but the UI is definitely struggling. For instance, if I select multi-cam it will show my webcam then turn the screen part into a placeholder and then I need to figure out how to re-add my screen video to sync with the webcam content. Ideally these video streams would be paired with each other by default and I could splice a single stream and toggle between different multi-cam layouts without have to manually set everything up each cut. I still need the ability to override one of the streams under special cases, but that should be the part that requires extra steps.
