this is the only thing that is keeping me from ditching FCPX for good!

It would be SO GOOD to simplify my workflow here!

Would love this feature. I often generate ProRes Proxy files of my footage which I use in Descript, and when I transfer my edits across they can be easily matched up.
Often this footage is SLog3.Cine.
It would be reallllllly helpful for me to share footage with clients if I could bulk apply a LUT. Either one I can add myself, or one that the app has available.
Right now, I've been 'grading' the footage by increasing contrast, but often it creates odd artefacts in the highlights (black or white peaking that looks quite bad!)

This feature is critical!

This would ROCK ROCK ROCK! For documentary film making, it's a complete pain in the ass to edit Slog3 in Descript. Descript plus LUT's would pretty much ruin my life because I would do is make videos. 🤣
Eugene Lopin
Upvoted, specifically for footage shot "flat" (log), with ability to make manual color adjustments to LUT applied (maybe v2).

The only this thing would do is make Descript the MAIN tool not auxiliary tool... So who knows if you should do it right? :D Well that and basic image editing... Do that and you'll become the complete package easily competing with capcut, da vinci and all the others for various reasons. Right now I use 2-3 apps during editing. I love Descript but I am looking for ways to replace you guys because, simply because I want to simplify my production complexity. Luts + BASIC video adjustments would be the minimal viable product to replace them all.
And I create social media posts, youtube videos, and sales videos for clients. The use I'm most concerned with is social media stuff. I make them every day and so production inefficiencies really add up.
