Feature Requests

Please make AI credits budget visible when you're in a project, not having to go to Usage to see my credits. I know you start showing them when you're running out, but you should always show them so we have a better idea of what we're using. It's a new feature and I don't want to have to constantly be doing math to understand how many credits I'm using.

I know the Record with Others feature is in Beta and the Squadcast recorder allowed for scheduling recording sessions. I would love to see that feature added to the Beta because having to send the link minutes before recording is problematic.

being able to select the source media for the screen is great. Would like to apply the same logic to wave forms and captions. Ability to assign source for those elements in addition to the normal a global setting

I wish that when I open a past file to view or copy an element of that it would not jump to the top of my projects! This plus the lack of an archive/folders makes it hard to get to the files I need to work on now. I work on a lot of similar files and it makes me lose when I worked on what. I feel like it should only change and jump to the top if any edits are made to the file itself.

I have recently seen some great improvements / more accuracy to my transcripts. I just wanted to give that positive feedback and say thank you.

Unless I am missing something, it's incredibly tedious to take a Zoom side-by-side recording and edit it so that each speaker is in it's own video. Currently I am a) duplicating the video and adding both to a sequence b) cropping and positioning each However I can't then seem to use things like your layout packs because they forget about the cropping I did. And if I alternate between side by side and active speaker only, it's a zillion adjustments each time. Currently, I am using Capcut to create a separate video for each speaker and then import those.

I would use Descript a lot if I could automatically import videos directly from Zoom and then export the edited video out to Vimeo. That's my workflow and without those two connections, I hardly ever use Descript even though I love it.

when making audio edits of levels, being able to see a audio level meter that has more detail can be helpful in visualizing changes being made

Right now when I or underlord add a crossfade, there is a freeze frame at the beginning of the media I am fading into until halfway through the transition. I want it to be smart enough to shift (slip) the inpoint of the media I am fading into earlier so that the the media I am fading into plays normally at the start of the transition. Right now I have to go in and manually slip all the footage earlier to avoid the very noticable freezeframe. I know this will change the outpoint of the shot but I'm ok with that as I am not usually using the entire duration of the shot anyway.

Ability to search multiple project transcripts from the home screen to find the project were the one topic was talked about.
