Automatic multicam is a great start. I would love it if pre-chosen layouts could also be applied based on active speakers. As in: Active Speaker 1 is linked to user-defined Layout 1, Active Speaker 2 is linked to user-defined Layout 2, and so on.

It would be great if we could change the font / size / bolding of individual words within a text block!

What I'd like Descript to do is to have an option to generate videos for each separate lines. The content will determine which video will show. And I'll be the one to remove/replace which ones I dont like.

I want to click a scene and have the ability to duplicate that selection of text to another composition - just as if I highlight the text with a longer, mouse drag process

Add several types of visual transitions between scenes or tracks

Automatically create scenes where speaker labels change. Additionally the ability to copy one scene to all similar speaker labels would be brilliant.

The newer version (vs classic) means it is less intuitive how to move layers forwards and backwards within a composition. If there was a simple way to 'lock' layers and move them either up or down once selected it would make workflow much quicker - especially as I re-use my compositions as templates all the time.

Ability to drag and drop scenes to re-arrange them.

Currently it is really hard to portray when both speakers speak over each other and need to manually create scenes. Would be there would be a dropdown of sorts or an easier way to attach multiscreen to a large group of scenes in a row

This is an essential feature that needs to come over to storyboard. It saves a lot of time
