Could add a marker to where you're stopping...

Wow - that feature request came in 2019 and it's still not added in! The mind boggles that such as a simple request hasn't been implemented yet. It takes me at least 2-3 minutes to find out where I left off editing an interview when I go back into a project.

Stuart Lawn: It's a good idea, but it's not hard if you use markers or inline notes. How does anybody keep track of this stuff with Google Docs for example? I just put a little #todo tag in my documents. This way I can see all of my recent edits and not start a new one until I have all the todo's finished.

Jason Dinkel: All our streaming video services should totally pivot to this.

I add a new line where I'm going to stop editing for a time and add a MARKER.

This very basic request is still under review after all this time? Sheesh.

Yes, would be great if there was a little arrow / emoji off to the side that points to where you were last editing. Or the furthest into the document that you'd made an edit.

One of my first thoughts when starting with Descript! Saved state should be same as when quit.
