This is a feature that was removed, but it made workflow so much easier to link from an uploaded YouTube video instead of having to upload the video to Descript again.

I would also want to watch YouTube channel for new videos (inc. live streams) to automatically import to Descript as a new projects, so I can asynchronously cut it and create short clips without working with whole huge video files.

If not possible also watching local directory would help, because I can keep it waiting on a streaming computer for new OBS recordings.

Definitely need the ability to copy and paste the YouTube URL link, paste it into the Add File and allow it to run the full Transcript. This is a must have feature

I am writing to request a feature to download YouTube videos. This would make life easier as I currently have to download multiple YouTube videos locally, then reupload to Descript. It is an extra task to do and I would love to see this feature added.
In addition, it would be great to be able to download part of a YouTube video (clip). Sometimes I don't need the whole video; I just want a 30-second clip out of a 3-hour video, especially for reels and shorts.
I hope that this feature will be added soon. Thank you for your time and consideration.
