Quick feature suggestion. The prompt to let users know when an update is available is great, but where is the option to force a check for updates?
I'd attempted to update, but had to let my doc finish saving before that would work. The update prompt disappeared as a result.
It did re-appear when I restarted the app, but it's an unnecessary step in IMHO.

I also notice that the prompt to update doesn't pop up until 5+ minutes into working on a project, which at that point I don't want to stop what I am doing. I would love it to either update in the background, or ask right away when the app is opened.

Very much agree. I want the latest but open the notice comes up once I'm already "deep" into an edit..

I would simply love (an option) to force check "for updates' upon execution of the App. I'd wait 10 to 20 seconds as long as their is a notification modal alerting me to what is happening.
