Feature Requests

I wish there was a feature that, when I add a b-roll or stock media and click on it while editing, it could display the duration of that stock footage. If I click on the stock media, it should show the duration somewhere, as I want to keep it to 2 or 3 seconds. Currently I have to manually zoom in and count from 21 to 24, then 3 seconds, instead of simply displaying the duration somewhere, either on the hover.

my uploads are roughly 1 hour segments. I keep ending up with 43 or so minutes left that I lose each month. I am making a podcast and have over 300 hours to upload. It would be great if I could upload everything at once for an additional cost while staying with my plan. even your next tier plan wouldn't come close (I am creator legacy-sunset). then I can focus on editing my podcast episodes.

PLEEEEAAASSSEEEEE have a better music organization tool in descript!! So many good songs, but IMPOSSIBLE to find them - and you can't favorite them!! PLEEEASE!

I have a script where I indicate what is the image goes together with a particular moment. I would like Descript to insert the media from my computer automatically on the right spot.

Need better filtering options for stock media. For example, images and videos should be filterable by landscape vs portrait. Audio REALLY NEEDS a duration filter. The amount of time I spent sifting through audio clips looking for intro music that's less than 15 seconds is crazy.

If I type a word like "POST" - all my videos with the word post are not coming up in the search results. I have no idea of how and why you are showing what you show in the results when i type a keyword but it makes NO F'IN SENSE!!!!! It takes forever for me to find my older stuff and I name them with my keywords so i can find them later and guess what - i can't find them for the life of me. Currently, I have styled specific elements (like a rectangle with custom colors, border thickness, and in/out animations) that I use throughout my tutorials. To reuse them, I have to scroll back through my timeline and copy-paste them, which is inefficient. I would like the ability to right-click a specific element and "Save to Library." This library should store the element's style and animation properties, allowing me to drag it into any scene across any project as a standalone layer, without applying a full scene Layout. It would also be great if we could edit the master element and it would update throughout all projects.
