Visual indicator for when Playback Speed is not 1x

It would be helpful to have some sort of visual indicator for any time the Playback Speed is not 1x, such as an outline or an icon. This was more visible in Classic, and it's easy to forget if the speed has been altered after taking a break from working on a project for a while

The problem: sometimes, I can go for a little while thinking that my project is running at normal speed when in reality it's running at 1.25X.
Proposed solution:
This could be minimized by somehow making playback speed more visible
To this end, given that the indicator of the knob of the playback speed button (depicted below) is tilted to the right (signaling higher-than-normal speed), even if the project is at 1X, it would be both highly functional aesthetically impressive if you made the indicator of the knob move like a real indicator live. In other words, proportional to the playback speed as the user changes it.

Yes, please. By default, I playback video and audio at 1.75x speed to find areas that I need to edit further.
It was much easier to do this in the old UI, where there was a visual control that showed what the current playback speed is.
Now, I don't have any way to easily tell how fast it's playing, so I have to guess whether to go faster or slower —
In the ideal, the current playback speed would show very prominently at the top of the screen.
Thank you so much for all your terrific work!!!
