The transcription hour renewal time is based on the TIME the subscription was first created, rather than the general DATE, which is very confusing and inconsistent with other subscription services - all others I work with renew first thing in the morning. For instance, I initially signed up for Descript at 8pm so I my renewal date says I'll get more hours on the 4th, but I don't actually get them until 8p (which is useless to me at that point in the day). This is very confusing for a user who works in many different platforms and simply wants to look at their account and know when they'll be good to go with more hours.
3 suggestions to correct this:
  • reset all user transcription hours first thing in the morning on the renewal date.
  • add the TIME of renewal to our account settings so that information is clear to the user.
  • allow the user to change their time of renewal.
