Hi Descript team,

I’m editing video in Descript and I’ve run into a usability issue with the timeline UI.

Right now the video timeline/layer display size appears to be limited to two presets (Small / Large). In my setup those presets don’t land in a usable “middle” size, so the video strips/thumbnails are either too cramped to work quickly or unnecessarily tall.

Could you add a custom/continuous video track height control (drag to resize, or a slider with more steps) so users can set the video timeline/layer height to fit their screen and workflow?

Id also like to adjust their sizes relative toi each other depending what im doing

This would make timeline navigation and clip editing much smoother, especially on smaller monitors or when juggling multiple layers.
