As it stands, elements placed on the timeline are fixed by timestamp, not to the script.
If elements are installed and edits to the script are made later in the process, those elements will likely be out of sync with the video and will need to be shifted on the timeline to realign them with their relevant visual/audio cues (eg. an element placed at the 01:00 minute mark will not move if you delete 20 seconds of script ahead of it, putting it on a 20 second delay in the updated script.)
This can be painful if the script is long and/or there are lots of visual elements when the editor realizes they need to delete sentence or a phrase from the script and then have to spend a long time shifting every element by a couple of seconds downstream.
If we could have a setting to map elements to something in the script (the waveform? the words?), they would dynamically shift with edits made to the script rather than being static at a point in time.
