The transcription activity screen should so how much time transcription time you have left for the month
shipped

The options for seeing your transcription activity are all useless for people with annual subscriptions. People need to know how much of their 10 or 30 hours a month they've used this month, and
none
of the sorts actually show this. Why would we care how much time we've transcribed over the last calendar month rather than our billing month? And showing the last 6 months' activity and year's (and "current cycle"...what is that even? since the annual renewal?) isn't useful either because there's no hours roll over month to month so you can't figure out if you're on track just by seeing you're under 60/180 hours for the past 6 months. Please add either "you've used X of 10/30 hours of transcription time for this billing month" or "you have X of 10/30 hours of transcription time remaining for this billing month."

Our new plans include detailed breakdowns of your remaining media minutes and AI credits:

Transcription is no longer tracked as a metered feature.

Gabe Michalski That's good. But Descript still refuses to let us reject bad takes. Now that you are counting "media minutes", this means that every bad take will eat away at our monthly media minutes. Does that seem fair to you? HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT DESCRIPT OFFERS A GAZILLION FANCY AI FEATURES BUT IS UNABLE TO PROVIDE THE EXTREMELY BASIC OPTION TO KEEP OR REJECT A RECORDING BEFORE SAVING IT?? It's almost beyond belief.
Andre Villeneuve
How is this absolutely basic request STILL not addressed?
Andre Villeneuve
Why does this request continue to be ignored? How hard can it be to display the remaining minutes on the main screen? When I first using Descript that's what it did. Why did this go away?

Persistent X/Y label for Transcription Hours on UI
E
Eric Monterastelli
There should be a persistent X Hours left / Y hours available on the Descript UI. We ran into an issue where we ran over our allotment, and had to boost to continue. But its really hard to know what we've used if we can't see it, and i believe its buried in the UI somewhere, but this is something crucial and should be front/center so that you can balance and prioritize what you're working on based on the hours you have left in the month (or how much rollover from a boost is left).

That would be so useful.

Please display remaining transcription minutes at all times
Dr. Andre Villeneuve
What happened to the remaining monthly transcription minutes that was previously displayed on top of the main screen. Why did it disappear? Or does it just show up when you are on your last hour? Honestly these constant changes are annoying. Can you please reinstate an option to clearly display at all times how many transcription minutes are left.

Make transcript activity downloadable as a csv

Hello! It would be great to be able to download the transcript activity to create logs with calculable total run times of projects. Being able to sort these by project folders would be great too.

Display transcription time remaining for non-drive owners

Currently ONLY
the drive owner
of a team of subscribers sharing a drive can see how much of the month's transcription time is left. Since Descript pools everyone's allotted time in a given organization, everyone on the team needs to be able to view the group's remaining collective transcription time in order to budget its use. (Not just the drive owner.)S
