I strongly believe that nowadays shooting your videos with professional cameras rather than iPhones could really help the creator to stand out. Even though technically EOS webcam is recognized by the software, it crashes straight after you hit recording. Cannon cameras are very popular and many people have and use them - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix the bug and make it work! For me personally it would make a world of difference and take away the necessity to use external recording software and allow me to make my videos from start to finish in Descript! Thank you very much to your entire team in advance - you guys are absolutely amazing and awesome! I totally LOVE using your product. But I also love using my Cannon DSLR - so please help me out :) Thank you again and have an amazing day! Katie

I currently use my GoPro with Nvidia Broadcast to provide video for my podcast. When I try to record video the only camera options I have are for the sony webcam software and my integrated camera even though the GoPro/Nvidia combo works with every other software I use. Can a fix be sent out for this?

Yes please Descript!! Your software can see the video stream, it just won't record it. Loom, zoom, and every other platform can use the video data from Canon EOS Webcam software! Please, I need this with my Rebel SL3. Don't a lot of Descript users have professional quality webcams? This would be an easy and welcome feature!
(Descript thinks there's an issue with the camera's internal clock, but I've manually aligned it to the millisecond with my computer and time zone.)
