This is coming out next week. Thanks for your patience! This feature was sorely needed. More great timeline editing improvements planned for a few months from now.

Andrew Mason: Hi Andrew. Is this feature going to be announced in an email when it comes out?

Thank you for this!! This is the only feature I find consistently missing. Being able to bulk edit the position of clips on the canvas without flattening them first would be great. Love Descript all round and so glad this feature is planned!!

In regards to "etc", a feature I am looking for is the ability to extend the beginnings all edited clips to a specified length before the first word in the line. If I could select all clips in my audio editor at once, I'd be able to drag them all out at once. For our workflow, we need that extra little space in front of each edited line.

Yes, this is what I came here to request! Either selecting multiple tracks or one specific speaker for volume adjustment. Both would be even better!

If this is implemented, please include a way to auto-select all clips from a given source file or all clips assigned to a specific speaker.

I'd love to be able to do this for manually adjusting clip volume or properties.

I recently had this use case too when I needed to combine a re-recording into the existing composition. The gain volume needed to be adjusted individually and it was painful.
