I love the Descript Rooms. The interface is clean, there are no distractions. Much akin to Zoom in that respect. However, when my podcast participants leave the room the recording shuts off. That is a huge problem. Can this be fixed so it is more akin to the way RiversideFM works. I would much rather use Descript Rooms than Riverside.

The only reason I started using Squadcast was that I could use a different link for each recording. In the past, I've used other recording platforms with persistent links and had guests show up on the wrong date and end up in a recording with another guest. This really screwed up the episode flow as we had to stop, explain to the guest who came in at the wrong time that they didn't belong there, and start back up again, then edit out the interruption in post. I loved Squadcast because I enabled a Zap in Zapier to create a new room each time a guest booked a time with me through my Calendly link. Now, it appears that Descript Rooms only has one persistent link, so I can't give a unique link to each guest, which would prevent the type of interruption I described earlier.

Since Squadcast is no longer being actively developed, I'd like to request the ability to create unique recording links for each project in Descript. Additionally, similar to Squadcast, the room/project should be able to be created automatically through Zapier.

I'm not willing to keep using Squadcast if it isn't actively developed (it'll eventually fail during a recording, which is a waste of everyone's time), and if the features I'm requesting aren't implemented, I won't feel comfortable continuing to use Descript.

Hello, right now, one of the most useful features from Squadcast are missing on Descript room. This includes scheduling sessions in advance and being able to have dashboards for the separate shows I edit for. Is there someway to maintain the separate workspaces for the shows I edit?

We really love the Squadcast functionality to create separate shows for our clients and invite them to have their own (free) login to record content on their own without an editor having to be there to hit record. Plus API functions similar to Squadcast.
