Currently, there's no way to show the same script track video twice in a single scene (e.g., top and bottom of a split-screen layout). The workaround is to add the same media as a separate overlay track, but overlay tracks have their own independent timeline — they don't respond to script edits (cuts, trims, filler removal, etc.). This means the two videos drift out of sync as soon as you edit the script.

A feature to "mirror" or "link" a track so it renders as two visual layers in the same scene — both driven by the single script timeline — would solve this. The use case is split-screen layouts where the same video needs to appear in multiple positions, and the user wants script-based editing to apply to all instances automatically.

In a 9:16 podcast video that was shot in 16:9, I want to be able to have the two-up video (host and guest) on top and a zoomed-in clip of who is speaking on the bottom.
