Pull Clips automatically by speaker

I pull quotes from the guest after i transcribe the full episode. It would be incredibly helpful and a massive time saver if i didn't have to manually pull all the guests clips to review them. It i transcribed the episode then was asked do I want to pull all comps by a specific speaker would be a HUGE time saver for me.

just to reiterate, the lack of this feature is preventing me from using this tool in my workflow!

Done-ish - you can export by paragraph breaks or markers: https://blog.descript.com/descript-37-new-features-remove-silence/

Andrew Mason: Respectfully, I'm not sure this has been completed. As it stands, if I want to export stems of completely edited audio, I need to go through and Solo each speaker and Export as Audio as many times as there are speakers. Could there be a checkbox that a user could select so that each speaker audio is its own individual .wav file so that Elan's request may be serviced? Speaker could be added to this dropdown. That way, people can easily do post work in DAWs that are not supported currently by the DAW export function. Thank you.

Seconded, for those who do audio production in more music focussed DAWs this would be a huge help

I would even settle for the ability to export the separate speaker sequence audio files individually :-)

I'd like to export the audio as multiple tracks based on the speaker labels. Each track would be a single clip with only the audio from one speaker and silence when other speakers are talking.

Jonathan Lamb: This please

Jonathan Lamb: Even the premiere/audition export, you could separate the audio onto the train tracks for each speaker label, then we could figure it out from there

Tim Scarfe: I see the option to export a track for each file for premiere/audition. However, I am using audacity and the .m4a files that result are not "edited" to leave only the audio portions that I want. Instead, the files seem to have all the original audio. And, the music I added to the composition does not align with the other tracks because it doesn't have silence added to it in a way that positions it correctly.
What I would like to do is export each track in the composition in descript as a separate .wav (or mp3) file with each file the exact same length as the others so that when opened in audacity, they all stack on each other correctly aligned.
