Totally agree, this is so annoying. I have no idea why the option to export the transcript without the ignored words wasn't put there from Day 1.

I like being able to ignore text during the editing process, as it is a halfway between deleted and leaving it in. This is especially useful for filler words, as sometimes removing them disrupts the flow. Unfortunately I don't want the ignored text in my text export. Can we please have a way to exclude it during export, or at least an option to delete all ignored text once I'm happy with the edit.

Currently, when you use the Ignore text/audio feature, the ignored text shows up on the exported transcription. But when you use the Delete text/audio feature, the Deleted text does not show up on the transcription.
I would like the option to exclude ignored words from the exported transcription.
Otherwise, this makes the ignore feature a bit useless for me.

This is so necessary!

Beyond Our Cells: I found the solution. In the sidebar under the track name there is an option badly called flatten. This cleans up the audio and transcript to give you a clean version.

Agree 100%. If it can be done, it would help greatly.
