Double language caption option

Allow the addition of a second set of captions / subtitles which are in another language. I've been using Descript to create posts for Chinese social media and I typically use both English and Chinese subtitles. There's no option to separately add the Chinese subtitles (using an SRT file) - so far I've had to use Adobe Premiere Pro to add them manually. It would be great if Descript could implement something of the sort to help with this such as a dual language caption / subtitle function.

Would love the ability to create video compositions that support captions in multiple languages i.e. English version on top, Spanish below. Seeing this a lot with other creators. Until Descript steps into translation, for now I can generate my own transcript with time stamps... would love to be able to add this into a current composition without overriding the current transcript in the original language. So basically a side-by-side for captions only. Best of luck, thanks!

It will be a game changer if there's a setting when at the right side when you add subtitle there's selection of language what you want to use in the caption/subtitle.

I agree we are trying to find a way to add French & Spanish subtitles to our english content.
