don't default to putting captions in all scenes

I keep forgetting to select "this scene" for adding captions and now it's taking forever to add captions to the entire project which I have to undo as soon as it's done. Instead of the default being to add captions to the whole project, which if this is incorrect is easily fixable and done once, have the default be to only add it to "this scene" - - I've done this a few times in my video editing and it literally takes a full minute to add captions to the whole thing and then I have to undo it. Again. Thanks!

I have tried to add captions to just one scene but forgot to change the default to current scene from all scenes and applied captions to my entire project. Can the user change the default to current scene from all scenes?

Please make captions default to "Scene Only". I have had to spend lots of time deleting captions from scenes where they don't belong because this is set to put them on the entire video. Even when I realize this mistake quickly, and click cntl-z it still does not remove them from all of the scenes, it would be a much easier fix if someone accidentally put them on just one scene but needed them on all. Thus the default should be "Scene only". Thanks!
