Archive or Trash Bin for deleted projects

Absolutely necessary to add Descript!!! No one intentionally deletes an important file. The user picks the wrong file thinking it is trash only realize you've deleted the wrong file after it's permanently gone. I lost a very important irreplaceable file and there's no help to be had. Developing a 30 day archive for deleted files is a must-do for this software. Without the recovery of my file and a fix to this software issue, I will be transitioning to different software. I love Descript, but this was a devastating loss, and the market is too competitive.

I saw my list of projects not knowing they were sorted by last worked on or something and so when checked project on second row and came back to delete it, accidentally pressed on what previously was first but no appeared second because of the sort and deleted it completely. I'm baffled that such a thing can be done so easily, let alone us being unable to recover the project at all. It was 4gb of 2 hours of recording that I had worked on perfecting the trasnscription of and its just gone.

Create a Trash for Deleted Projects
Daniel Martinez Stahl
Hi there,
Please create a trash folder for deleted projects that will auto erase permanently after a period of time of your choosing. I just deleted a project that I thought I was done with only to discover that there was something else I could have done before deleting.
Please offer us the ability to trash projects and be able to recover them for a period of time. Thank you as always for your help.
Lots of Love, Daniel 🙂❤️

Or at least some instructions if there's any workarounds. For example, if a project and its media files, can you use disk recovery tools like Cleverbridge's DiskDrill to find deleted files in Application Support/Library/Descript...

It would be helpful to be able to create a full backup of your projects in one click. That could involve exporting all compositions as audio or video files, exporting the associated transcripts, and automatically removing the download from local storage.

How is this not a part of your great product. One mistake sometime leads to another issue and then another. I've started one project 3 times AFTER I just "tweaked" it just a little here and there.
Common get with the program. WE NEED UN-DELETE!

How about having a feature to download the deleted project to be saved for later restoration if needed?
