Requiring all projects be kept in the Descript cloud means folks who can't afford a bigger plan have to permanently delete their projects once they reach the storage limit.

The existing backup feature requires users to maintain the original project in the cloud for the backup to function. This is very counter-intuitive. A "backup" insinuates that the project can be restored if it gets lost or deleted, but the current "backups" become unusable without the original project... So, what's even the point...

Allowing projects to be imported/exported locally would prevent low-income power users from being forced to delete their work, and would make the backups way more useful. Thank you!
