Moving beyond this... Visla app takes Private B-Roll Footage and auto AI tags it so it can automatically put your OWN B-roll into the script based on key words.
Is this a feature you guys would ever do?

What a fantastic idea! Having AI suggest the ideal B-Roll for our scenes would significantly boost efficiency. It would save time and guarantee that our visuals perfectly match the content we're working on. This feature could revolutionize our workflow.

You mark a section of text in the script and click "Auto B-roll" (or a better name). Then you set our min and max b-roll length and click "Generate" or something. This part is important as you want to be able to control the pace of your cuts and with a min and max length, Descript can then do that automatically.
The point is, Descript then use "key words" (On easy way to identify keyword could be top 3 longest word in the part that it needs to find b-roll for) from the selected part of the script to find and insert matching b-roll video from the stock library.
This is feature that would really speed up things for me I think.
It should of cause just add this b-roll into the script exactly as you would manually do, so you can after go in and correct if some of the b-roll didn't match good enough etc.

Not having this option seems like a
waste
of Descript's AI capability. Having it use the text to choose individual slides/short movies (selectable?) is something that has been a part of less sophisticated video options for years (e.g. Vidnami and Pictory).Propane

This would take Descript to the next level for sure! I could churn out videos at a crazy pace then, and the videos I really want to do, not the ones I'm settling for because I don't have the time.
