At the moment, when a Rooms recording session ends, the files are automatically returned to the project and transcription begins without any user interaction.

I do not think the existing app setting, “Always ask before transcribing”, is the right fit for this behaviour, because that setting appears to apply to workflows where the user is active in the project and can respond to a prompt. Rooms works differently, as its post-session actions happen automatically once recording ends.

A better solution would be to add a dedicated option within the Rooms settings tab, such as “Automatically transcribe files”.

This would let users decide whether Rooms recordings should be transcribed automatically after the session ends, while keeping the existing “Always ask before transcribing” behaviour unchanged for normal in-project workflows.

This would help by:

- giving users clearer control over what happens after a Rooms session ends

- preventing transcription credits from being used when transcription is not wanted

- keeping Rooms behaviour separate from the normal interactive project workflow
