It's easy for collaborators who're just meant to edit a project's transcript to alter audio and video, e.g., remove silence gaps, filler words, or long silences when they were meant to just correct the transcript.

It'd be great to have a feature to share the project with "transcript-editing" access only.

It's common to see the composition altered in length when transcript editors fix a one- or two-hour transcript, even if just a few seconds.

In the doc provided below it is indicated that anyone with access to edit can edit the project without restrictions. Well... hold it right there. Not all who should be able to edit a file should be allowed to delete it. Certainly, I could elect to grant delete permissions to the drive owner alone, thereby preventing any other contributors from accidentally or intentionally deleting anything important from the shared drive.

The current 2 levels of access permissions (Comment-only and Editor) are limiting for larger team-based workflows. It would be very helpful to have some additional access levels in between those 2. Most importantly: the ability to Correct Text in transcripts, but not perform other editing tasks. Another helpful permissions level would be "Edit Compositions only"(not able to modify Sequences or other files) and Script Track Edit Only (can edit the main script track in Compositions but not other tracks or elements)

When working with an outside member, the core team would like to only give access to certain features within the shared projects. In our scenario, this member would only be given access to edit the transcription but unable to do absolutely anything else. For security reasons, we want to make make sure members do not have access to download anything from the project. Just simply edit.
