We're planning to open this up to other regions in the future but we do not have an ETA at this time.

Hi Cristian Cotovan: Yes - currently the program is only rolled out for residents of (*correction - United States and Canada). We'll continue expanding this in the future.

Dan Reyes-Cairo: That doesn't make sense. PayPal works in Europe too, you know? And customers in Europe pay for Descript too, so I don't see the reasoning.

Dan Reyes-Cairo: why is it only for North America? I would like to start promoting Descript. Many people are asking how I'm doing my podcast. It'll be a miss if I couldn't benefit from this affiliate program. And since you track the affiliate using linkmink and PayPal, I think it is doable to open up for more people and be more inclusive?

Henry Suryawirawan: Hi all - we appreciate your patience as we begin rolling out this program.
Unfortunately I won't be providing more specifics, but the issues have more to do with legal ramifications that need to be prepared for / met, not with any desire to prevent users from other countries from participating.
We'll be rolling out the program to other countries as soon as we are able.

I saw something about applying to be an affiliate recently and filled out the form - but now I don't see anything on the site...anyone know the update on this? I love this platform and am surprised how many people HAVEN'T heard of it yet. They are all excited and come back with rave reviews (of course I knew they would). Andrew Mason is there an update on this program? Thanks so much for looking at the options and listening to everyone's feedback =)

I'm new to Descript, but I've been in the affiliate marketing world for many, many years ... and I can confirm that you are missing out on thousands of new customers PER MONTH by not having your affiliate program in place.
Descript usage would literally EXPLODE if you had a proper affiliate program in place.

Descript you are losing on lot of my recommended clients, you have to start on an affiliate program at the earliest. Shifting lot of your potential customers to Murf AI.
