Ability to perform J/L cuts by offsetting audio and video on the script.

Installed Descript. Descript added itself to "Login items". Removed Descript from "Login items". Opened Descript. Descript added itself to "Login items". Deinstalled Descript.

Many filler words that are automatically removed result in a harsh cut of the audio. I would like an option that only removes filler words that can be cleanly removed. For example, if the filler word has a pause between the start and end of it.

Since you are moving towards more AI help in our workflow, in the future, if AI could suggest from all the available libraries the right B-Roll for the scenes we are active in, that would be amazing.

After the update, the image generation function is significantly less intelligent than before, can only generate extremely simple text and lines, and the layout and color are extremely monotone.

For the audio effect 'Ducking' it would be essential to be able to put in decimal numbers. Currently, only integers can be put in as a parameter.

Some visibility for the status of effects that are processing. Applying something like Eye Contact to a long clip seems to take a long time. A %completed or estimated time remaining would be a huge quality of life bonus. It would help me make decisions like "should I get up and walk away for a bit?" or "Is this so long that maybe I should break this into smaller clips?"

Feature request for the ability to adjust the speed of generated Overdub audio. Looking for Controls to speed up / slow down the cadence. Ability to adjust the spacing between words and / or phrases.

I am using minimax for audio dubbing and I am getting very good results and that will improve descript as well.

Right now, I have to add double spaces (i.e., "Hello world, my name is Descript.) between words to get the "effect", but with the amount of videos I'm making, it gets cumbersome.
