It would be very useful if either Descript tested to make sure all speakers in a composition or project had unique color-codes; or gave the user the ability to change the speakers color-code.

Came here to say the same thing. I've created transcripts of interviews with two speakers and both speaker colors are the same. There has to be a way to ensure that different colors are used.

Eirik Somerville: Yes please to both these ideas. It would be great to color-code speaker's text as well as the label and the ability to change colors would be great, since I've had multiple compositions where speaker labels are the same color.
