what about linux !!!! again all for Mac and windows , this is good marketing, i was really to use but it's again no? if somebody can fix a freeware, like linux apps, and please not through Wine. you talk about free apps Miss, in your vidéo, but again, i'm terribly desappointed. money money money... oh, i forgot, linux users knwn that, but you have OBS, also for Linux (mac , windows), and that work like a train. But i'm gonna look and ask on a linux Blog, if there is a similar apps, and i think that i find it. i let you know. So long, J-christophe

As a person who uses Linux this would be a great help if I could install it natively.

This was asked 4 years ago, any progress on this? Any reason it can't be packaged for Linux?

This would be great, there is a lot of things to share with the community and teams on a Linux environment

Ubuntu user here. I'd love to use Descript for my projects. The only reason I don't is because there is no support for Linux. Would be really appreciated if you could add Linux compatibility. Thank you!

I would really appreciate it! Ubuntu client would be nice. Editing videos in Virtual Box with Descript is really painful experience.
