integration with foot pedal to control script + timeline scrolling

I'm on a mac and would REALLY like to use my foot pedal, since my main job on Descript for my team is transcription editing (VEC Infinity USB1, a very commonly used device)

What pedal? I thought pedals could be configured to custom keys - can you configure your pedal to press the TAB key?

Looking into it, I suppose you're right, Andrew Mason! But it seems like the only transcription-related software out there that makes it intuitively easy (and advertises itself as such) is Express Scribe. If you had your own Descript-centric pedal software, I'd probably have found you a lot sooner!
