audiogram customizations

I own a podcast network, and I'd switch all of our shows to you overnight if you add customization to audiograms.
I think the basic features of audiogram customization that would be be most valuable would be (using your first all white template as reference):
-replace background image
-ability to have the subtitles aligned not only in the middle as they are now, but also on the top or the bottom third of the square.
-subtitle line of text (between 'comp title' and speaker) for podcast show name, then episode name
-basic color palette for before and after colors
-subtitle line of text (between 'comp title' and speaker) for podcast show name, then episode name
-font
headliner is a poorly designed program riddled with UX issues and buggy software, and they butcher the uploaded subtitles from descript if you try to use 'karaoke' mode. At this point, headliner is such a pain in the ass that I'm having a quicker workflow by publishing your audiogram using a white template, downloading it, creating a Premiere project, removing the white background, repositioning the text, and using effects to modify your color scheme.

All of these features sound amazing.

Any estimated time of release for this feature?

Appears we have several common threads regarding video annotations and editing:
Does anybody use miro.com for creating PDFs and presentations?
I do and the drawing tools are fantastic with emoji's and easy to manipulate lines, boxes, colors, transparencies, text and templates. If this style of tools was available for the video portion of descript, that would be really nice.

The ability to add multiple images on a timeline, like you can in Headliner, would be excellent too - though I recognise this is a less common way of doing audiograms.

Ditto! I came over to Descript from another service because of the plethora of features here but the audiogram customizations almost have me taking my text over there to create them.

Audiograms should also have the option of having the following:
- Presets (once you set it in the project, the selections should be saved)
- Subtitled Video Templates (allow use of video when our projects have it!)
- Default AND Customizable templates (similar experience to Headliner's builder, basically give us an editor that feels like the descript project editor for full customizability with dynamic components such as title, speaker name, maybe even a dynamic speaker profile image!)

Cameron Suorsa: Agreed.

I'd love to switch from Headliner to Descript audiograms! But I want more control over my audiograms, I don't want just templates that Descript has, I want to create my own. And no, change background photo & colors is not enough. I want to be able move the wave, change the type of wave, move subtitles, resize them, etc.

The ability to save Audiogram presets would also be great to quickly switch between different podcast presets.
