This is a persistent problem for our team. We record over Riverside, but the joined video+audio file does not provide high quality sound. We upload the uncompressed audio separately visually line up these tracks. But Descript creates all kinds of bugs when this happens. Multiple transcriptions constantly create conflicts, and the speakers, even when merged, create persistent conflicts and cascading bugs.

YES!!! This is awful!!!

This is the only thing that's really stopping me from replacing my edit system with Descript for most of my basic edits. Please add this.
